Full description
I handcraft these beautiful multicoloured natural earrings in my cabin studio with clay that I forage myself from around Bristol, UK. Making them some of the most sustainable earrings around.
This glaze and pottery combo creates an amazing depth of colour and includes blues, purples and pinks. The photos show the design and glaze used but each pair come out slightly different and unique!
The hooks are made from stainless surgical Steel so are completely hypoallergenic.
The backs are left unglazed exposing the dark wild terracotta coloured clay.
They come in a 9x9cm recyclable brown Kraft gift box that is hand stamped with my artwork.
The total drop is around 6cm and the ceramic pendants themselves around 4cm.
Free postage and quick dispatch
I have been working with foraged clay for a few years now and am obsessed with the beautiful texture created when paired with these rich deep glazes! Once I have processed the clay and made my earring designs, they are then fired to stoneware (1220 celcius) temperatures and become ceramic.
If you like these please checkout the other designs in my shop and follow my Instagram page for more information about the crafting process and upcoming markets and events.
