These beautiful handmade light blue crackled, long ceramic earrings are completely unique and every pair are slightly different.
I love making these earrings as the glaze always remind me of the sea and the many happy memories that come rushing back.
Each pair are presented in small hand stamped eco gift box and I m happy to include a personalised message without an extra charge.
I make all my jewellery from clay I forage myself from around my little cabin in Bristol UK, making them some of the most sustainable earrings in the world!
I have been working with foraged clay for a couple of years now and am obsessed with the beautiful texture created when paired with these rich deep glazes! Once I have processed the clay and made my earring designs, they are then fired to earthenware temperatures (1150 Celsius) and become ceramic.
The picture shows the design and glaze used but due to the exciting nature of ceramics each pair will have slight variations. The backs are unglazed exposing the wild beige coloured clay. The hooks are made with hypoallergenic stainless steel.
These earrings make a thoughtful well presented gift for any occasion.
