I was inspired to design a range of beginner friendly heirloom animal dolls that would have all of the limbs sewn into the body for extra durability whilst still having plenty of movement in the joints. I planned to add a wardrobe of clothes patterns to fit the dolls that would mix and match & be interchangeable between them. The doll without clothes is a perfect heirloom gift for new babies and the doll with a wardrobe of clothes is a perfect role-play gift for children aged three years and over.
