Do not soak the bowl or place it in the dishwasher. Clean with a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Keep away from direct heat sources such as radiators, stoves or open flames, as excessive heat may damage or warp the wood. The inlay and finish are durable, but avoid scrubbing with abrasive pads or harsh cleaning products. Not suitable for microwave use. If the wood appears to dry out over time, it can be refreshed with a light application of a food-safe oil or wax. Wood is a natural material and may develop small changes in colour or grain over time — this is normal and part of its character.

This handcrafted bowl is turned from rich Utile hardwood, known for its warm reddish-brown tones and elegant, flowing grain. Carefully shaped on the lathe, the bowl has a smooth, refined profile that highlights the natural character of the timber.
A striking feature of this piece is the dark blue sparkly inlay set neatly into the rim. The deep blue contrasts beautifully with the warmth of the Utile, adding a subtle shimmer that catches the light and gives the bowl a contemporary, eye-catching finish.
The interior is smoothly finished to reveal the swirling grain patterns, while the outer curve gives the bowl a balanced, tactile feel. Each detail has been individually crafted, sanded, and finished by hand to bring out the wood’s natural depth and beauty.
