Historically speaking mixed Agate has been used since 9000 bc and found in stone age graves. Romans crushed it to make anti-venom.
Agate is seen as a stabilising and strengthening stone that promotes emotional, physical, and intellectual balance.
Harmonising: It is believed to help balance the opposing forces of yin and yang within the universe.
I like the strength of the stone, the colours allow it to be worn with about anything and it wears very well.

Safety information
We make the barrel and ball rotating connector to withstand a weight of 15lbs but in reality it might take more force to break it. We would strongly recommend not wearing it as a bracelet in situations where it might get caught, e.g heavy machinery or rock climbing. As it might cause injury.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
The Wayfarer has been crafted with a 200mm Schofer of Germany steel 8.5mm round trace pocket chain, as it folds the best in the pocket. A decorative natural stone Agate drop chain of approx 200mm. It comes in either an 8mm or 10mm beaded drop chain. The 8mm beaded drop chain is approx 20mm shorter. The 8mm drop chain comes with Tibetan two tone, gold and silver colour in a zinc alloy and the 10mm in silver colour. We use a steel "S" clip to join the drop chain to the pocket chain. The belt loop hook is a stainless steel, polished Japanese fish hook design approx 45mm long. The key grab is a 13mm lobster claw with trigger approx 13mm length. Also comes with a split ring to join the belt loop hook to the body of the drop chain.
Total length of the Wayfarer key chain varies between 450mm to 550mm
The 10mm bead Wayfarer bracelet are 200mm - 220mm length
The 8mm bead Wayfarer bracelet are 170mm - 190mm length
Only the Wayfarer at present comes in either 8mm or 10mm sizes.
Each Wayfarer varies due to the natural stone colours.
