Knitting is such an old craft, and such a personal craft - every item has hours of love and energy poured into it. And I really believe that handcrafted items should be as unique as possible - let the supermarkets specialise in bland and unoriginal! These mismatched wristwarmers are definitely not twins and maybe not even siblings - more like soulmates linked by a rare and special love <3

Need some whimsy in your life? Who doesn't?!? Add a little whimsical touch to your wardrobe with these gorgeously mismatched, handknitted wristwarmers.
Featuring stripes, waves, squares and sweet little wibbles (official knitting term here in Scrapunzel's studio), these wristwarmers will keep you warm and cosy, while amping up your wardrobe whimsy to a magical factor.
These are handknitted from a pattern I wrote, using a wool/alpaca blend yarn that is great for keeping hands cosy and warm.
Wristwarmers are a great transition item for between seasons - that time when it's too cold for bare hands but not quite chilly enough for full gloves or mittens. And for anyone who has circulation issues, wristwarmers can really make a difference.
Every pair of wristwarmers I knit is unique, just like people. These mismatched beauties are particularly unique - my squirrel-brain wanted creativity rather than obedience!
Each glove is knitted individually, so please allow for some slight differences between the two. I like to think that bland perfection is for supermarkets, not handicrafts; these gloves are more like sisters than twins.
HOW TO LOVE AND CARE FOR THEM FOREVER:
"Handwash us, please! We like a nice cool bath with a gentle soap. And please don't introduce us to your tumble dryer! We like air-drying (although we're a bit partial to laying on the radiator for a little while too!)"
