My inspiration comes from the traditional Japanese art of Kanzashi. I love the meditative process of folding simple satin ribbons into complex, star-like petals. For this design, I wanted to contrast the soft sheen of the satin with a sharp, geometric shape and a jewel-like centre to create something that feels special and truly one-of-a-kind
