I like to take unusual things and make them into brooches or earrings. I have used both soda (drinks) cans, vintage books, gel printed papers, wooden jigsaw pieces and clay to make earrings and brooches.
I do mainly brooches and earrings because as a plus-size woman these were the things I could guarantee would fit me in any shop.

Full description
This beautiful wooden jigsaw brooch is painted using acrylic pens and then sealed with resin.
I have used three wooden jigsaw pieces linked together to create it. I am inspired by mid-century modern patterns which I've used to decorate this piece.
It's a quirky brooch and would look good on a coat or jacket lapel or worn on a cardigan or top. It would make a great gift for a jigsaw lover or someone who loves quirky jewellery.
