Full description
This cake stand has been handmade on our woodturning lathe from a piece of reclaimed Beech. The timber was originally part of a chair which was broken and unable to be fixed. We have repurposed the timber to make this cake stand which is 34.5cm diameter and 8cm tall. The base has also been turned on the lathe and then painted with pink chalk paint for a contrast.
As with all of our food safe cake stands, bowls and platters, we suggest that they are cleaned with a damp cloth only and that they are refreshed with regular coats of olive oil, chopping board oil of food safe danish oil to maintain the piece.
