I set myself a challenge of doing an art piece paying homage to a specific country, as I did many years ago as a school project when we studied India. This time, I used some of the gifts given to me years ago by Chinese exchange students who I met in uni, for inspiration, to create a piece as an homage to China.

Full description
This A4 print features my original painting Lady of China on 300 gsm matte paper. I used mixed media to create this piece: watercolour, acrylic paint and various pens and markers. It is a vibrant portrait of a Chinese lady, featuring a red fan, Chinese lamp and cherry blossom, as well as Chinese symbolism and Yin & Yang signs.
