Sail boat suncatcher handmade in beautiful stained glass by Carole's Glass.
If you are off to the seaside you might get a glimpse of a sailboat or two. This pretty stained glass panel shows a boat in full sail and would be great for any sailing enthusiast.
This measures 10.5cms x 25cms.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, copper foiled and solder together to form a beautiful picture of a sailing boat before being washed again and polished, I have added a decorative boarder made of twisted wire which not only looks attractive but adds strength and also forms the hanging hooks. A length of fishing line has been attached for hanging purposes.
This has been made with blue streaky glass for the sky, red streaky sea glass for the sun, white streaky glass and lime green sea glass for the sail, the boat from dark bluecorella glass and the sea from teal sea glass.
I will supply a window hook so that you are able to hang it as soon as received but please remember to wet the plunger before pushing it firmly onto the window.
I normally post the following working day and this will be sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24.
