Full description
We've made this charming little sun catcher out of tumbled beach glass. The glass has come from the necks of old poison or medicine bottles. Screw necks are stronger than other parts of bottles and so survive the action of the waves on estuary beaches. We've added a red glass heart and beads to add colour and interest to the sun catcher. The frame is gold plated wire so won't tarnish.
We've tumbled the glass in fine sand to smooth it and bring out the colour.
The sun catcher is 11 cm high and 6.5 cm wide. It comes with a length of transparent cord.
Our sun catchers are individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each sun catcher is unique.
The sun catcher will be delivered by Royal Mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
