Inspired by my own childhood growing up by the sea on the Isle of Bute. We had a freedom to roam and explore unimaginable now. The then bustling harbour at Rothesay was our playground and we would spend hours watching the ever changing scene - the ferries and steamers coming and going and all the varied activities of what was then a lively and busy holiday resort.

A Fine Art Giclee Print from an Original Painting by Jim Galt. An evocation of growing up by the sea in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, Scotland in the 1960s. The famous paddle steamer Waverley departing from Rothesay Pier.
The print is printed on Hahnemuehle Fine Art Paper mounted in an acid free mount measuring 10 x 12 inches, image size 6 x 8 inches. Ready to frame.
