I began this journey last September after moving to Leicester for my Museum Studies MA. Near my school, there was a small park I visited during lunchtime or weekends, gathering leaves and flowers to capture the changing seasons through botanical prints.
While printing, I noticed winter had quietly slipped away, and summer was returning. When I moved to London later, I continued discovering each new neighbourhood through its colours. I once tried dyeing with maple leaves, hoping I hadn’t missed the last fallen ones of the season — but the trees had only a few left. I realised that if the moment had passed, I would simply have to wait until next year.
We cherish nature, but we must also accept its timing.
Everything has its season.

Full description
These silk socks are handcrafted using botanical printing, a natural technique that transfers the colours, shapes, and memories of leaves and flowers directly onto cloth. Each pair is created with Japanese-sourced silk, chosen for its softness, breathability, and luxurious feel.
The prints are made using local leaves and floral leftovers, collected through gentle foraging and seasonal observation. No synthetic dyes are used — only the pigments offered by nature.
Every pair is completely unique.
No two leaves fall in the same way; no two prints will ever repeat themselves.
These socks are a quiet celebration of seasonality, craftsmanship, and the beauty found in the everyday.

How to care
This pair of sock is made of silk from Japan and botanical print with local plants and leftover flowers. All botanical print will lose color with washing and wear, but that's part of the plant story. To preserve the natural colour, please follow below care instructions
- Hand wash gently in cold water using a mild, pH-neutral soap.
- Avoid rubbing or wringing, as natural colours and silk fibres are delicate.
- Dry flat in the shade — keep away from direct sunlight to preserve colour.
- Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry.
- Store in a cool, dry place, ideally away from long-term direct light.
