These bird feeders are made in willow called Salix Black Maul which offers a subtle range of soft browns which blends beautifully with a garden setting. Fixing them to a window means that even when you're unable to get outside or all snaffling your cornflakes before school, a cheeky Robin or a squabble of blue tits might visit and give you a mood boost.
The sides of the bird feeder have a lovely twisting weave called a 3 rod wale which is not only a delight to weave but also gives a beautiful pattern for you to enjoy.
Each bird feeder is lovingly made and I hope it brings you lots of joyful moments with your feathered friends.

Full description
This willow bird feeder is handmade using ancient techniques in my shed in Nottingham.
It measures 20cm across and comes complete with 2 suckers to attach the feeder to your window and bird seed fat balls so it can be set up immediately. FREE UK POSTAGE INCLUDED
The bird feeder is made from UK grown willow, farmed and harvested in Somerset.
The bird feeder comes wrapped in tissue and makes a perfect gift for nature loves, bird spotters and anyone who spends a large part of their day indoors. When working from home, the arrival of a bird at the window brings a lift to your day. Willow is the traditional gift to celebrate a 9th wedding anniversary.
As willow is a natural material these bird feeders will decompose over time. Those in my garden last on average 2 years. This leaves no waste (the window suckers are reuseable too!)
These bird feeders are particularly attractive to Robins and Blue tits and leaving food out regularly will support the wildlife in your garden and brighten your day.
