Under a Paper Moon

'Under a Paper Moon' is an irregular edged mixed media collage float mounted into a custom mount. The mount measures 30 x 25cm and will fit in a 12 x 10" frame.
My collages are created by layering a variety of paper weights, the paper is painted, cut or ripped, glued and then painted with gouache paints. I then work into the layers with water soluble and permanent pencils to create texture and depth. The collage is then held in place with artist quality Neutral pH adhesive and float mounted in a custom mount. This collage has been finished with gold pigment.
