My inspiration for Dinosaur Discovery Quest - Lila and Tilly's Sparkling Forest Adventure came from long walks along the West Sussex coast with my granddaughter. One misty morning, we spotted tiny sparkles in the dew on the grass, and she asked if fairies lived there. That sparked the idea of a magical, glowing forest! I wanted to create a shy little Triceratops named Tilly – much like a nervous toddler – who finds courage through friendship with brave Lila. As Tony Poole, I've always loved dinosaurs, and living near ancient downs full of fossils made it feel right to set their quest here in an English woodland. I hope this book helps little ones aged 3–5 discover that being brave and kind can lead to the best adventures.
