I saw someone making these many years ago on a documentary about India. They have an amazing inventive and innovative spirit.

There is so much cutlery in second hand shops, hanging about and no longer needed. Finding new work for these items is my job. I love repurposing stuff and ending up with something quirky for your body or home as in my cutlery door, draw and cupboard pull handles.
These bracelets do have some signs of ware as they are old forks. However I do select the ones where the ware adds a certain patina.

These bracelets are marked with EPGSS, which research says it's electro plated German Silver. Not sure what the last S stands for but I have heard it stands for "system".
EPGSS is defined as: Electroplated German silver is a metal alloy that typically consists of copper, nickel, and zinc, coated with a layer of silver through electroplating. This process enhances its appearance and resistance to tarnishing, making it popular for decorative items and tableware.
