I'd had these two bar shaped amethyst stones in my stash for a while, they were intended for use in a multi strand bracelet but I thought I'd see what else I could make from them!
The bottom bar is threaded through with three sterling silver headpins and I've placed a pattern of 3mm faceted amethyst stones and 2mm faceted sterling silver spacer beads onto each pin. I carefully placed the second bar on the top and secured the headpins with my trademark spirals and a tiny looped bail. Finally I attached this unique amethyst pendant onto a sterling silver Singapore chain with an extender and tiny matching amethyst stone.

Chain length 19ins (48.5cm) with a 1.5in (3cm) extender chain. Pendant itself measures 4cm x 2cm.
