That’s where the tree emerged in my imagination — a gnarled, weather-worn sentinel, bent by years of wind yet unbroken. Twisted branches claw toward the sky like sketches of lightning, roots gripping the earth in defiance of the coming tempest. It carries a history etched in its curves, shaped not by softness but by endurance. The bend is not weakness — it’s wisdom.
The hare stands near the tree, not sheltered beneath it, but anchored by its presence. One small, quick, instinct-led creature — the other slow, seasoned, storm-forged timber. Together, they form a quiet partnership — symbols of alertness and survival, instinct and perseverance, fleeting moment and long-lived patience.
