Full description
Useful fabric shoulder bag in olive green and maroon, with a fringed trim.
Olive green and dark red don't immediately spring to mind as going together, but when I saw this patterned remnant, and knew I had some green and burgundy sheeting remnants, it just had to all come together to make something. And the result was this bag.
Measuring approx 9x8x1.5 inches, or 23x20x4 cm, it is small and handy, whilst still large enough to carry all the essentials.
The strap is in a burgundy webbing and is approx 33 inches, 84 cm long.
The bag is lined in the plain dark red.
The flap is trimmed with a strip of burgundy fringed trimming - this has been in my box of bits as long as I can remember and is probably over 50 years old!
Although most of the items in my shop are handsewn patchwork, this bag has been sewn mainly with the sewing machine.
