These types of cassette recorders were a huge part of my childhood and teenage years and I still like to collect and use them today. Unfortunately some of them have reached the end of their lives and are beyond repair, so I came up with the idea of transforming them into a working wall clock to hang on the wall and to be admired and appreciated every day.

Vintage Cassette Recorder Wall Clock - 1980s Upcycled Tech
This one-of-a-kind wall clock began life as a classic 1980s cassette recorder and has now been lovingly upcycled into a unique, functional clock.
Once beyond repair, this vintage beauty has been meticulously taken apart and carefully refitted with a quality quartz clock mechanism to give it a brand new purpose in life and a reason to hang it on your wall to be admired every day.
Every effort has been made to preserve its original charm and character. Many of the buttons and sliders remain operational for authenticity and the cassette tray still opens, allowing you to insert your favourite tape for the perfect personal touch.
Each clock is handmade with care and attention to detail so no two are ever the same - making this possibly one of the most unique items you could ever own.
