In the early weeks of learning to make fused glass I made a house in the class I was attending. I loved it and wanted to make more.

Full description

Made of four glass panels and a glass roof this house is full of detail. The roof and front door are the same colour and the flowers around the house range from yellow to several shades of blue and orange to red. There are four different shades of green glass used to make the grass and leaves of plants giving lovely texture. There's evidence of gardening with a fork and spade alongside a planter on one side and a trellis on the other side.

This house can be enjoyed as it is or if you wish to light it up you could use an LED tealight or the tiny LED's on wires would work well too. I don't recommend a naked flame as the heat may cause stresses in the glass over time which may fracture/break it.

I made this piece using sheet glass crushed glass, glass stringers, glass enamels and nichrome wire.

The house is 5cm (w) x 5cm (d) x 10cm (h).

Each piece is handmade and therefore may vary slightly from the pictures shown. Please note I only charge postage and packaging for one item in an order, any additional items in the order will not incur further P&P charges.
