Sakura agate, also known as cherry blossom agate, is a type of chalcedony that features pink and white floral 'plume' patterns within the stone. Only found in areas of Madagascar, it's thought to be associated with growth, transformation and the nurturing of feminine energy.

Sakura agate is one of my favourite gemstones, look closely and you'll see the light pink 'plumes' and flower shapes that appear in the middle of the stone, which is why it's also known as cherry blossom agate. Here I've used 8mm natural sakura agate rounds and rosary linked them together with silver plated wire and a hook and eye clasp, along with two little silver plated flower charms for a finishing touch.
This bracelet is the perfect spring and summer accessory, or a thoughtful gift for a bridesmaid or summer prom. Its soft peach and silver tones make it look great layered with other gemstone bracelets too.
