I was led to make these after seeing an original in a museum. I like the shape and form and the extent to which the surface can be decorated as can be viewed in my back catalogue website.

Do not place near fire or any extreme high heat. Do not place in a damp or wet environment. In door only. Ornament only. Does not protect the head. Lightly dust with a soft brush if needed.

Full description
This is adult head size, hand modelled, newspaper pulp helmet. Stand included (wood and copper). Intended as an ornament and not for wear. Although many will want to try it on and have their picture taken for social media!
I have made over 200 of these helmets and each one is numbered.
This one for sale is oiled with linseed and finished with dark beeswax polish.
I send these Royal Mail Signed For, 1st Class.
