This design began when I made a bauble for a close friend who had lost her dad. She told me how comforting it felt to see the robin on her tree — a gentle reminder that he was still near in spirit. Since then, I have created these for others who find comfort in small symbols of love and memory at Christmas.
Each one is made with care, understanding, and a quiet thought for the person being remembered.

Full description
This handmade remembrance bauble is created to bring a little comfort at Christmas to anyone missing a loved one. A robin is often seen as a gentle sign that someone dear is still close by, and this decoration captures that sentiment with warmth and care.
Each bauble is handcrafted by me, from setting the tiny scene inside to the very last ribbon bow. The robin is carefully positioned and securely attached to natural pine cones, then surrounded with soft faux snow and delicate crystals. A personalised wooden heart hangs above the robin, suspended on ribbon so it appears to float within the bauble.
Once the scene is complete, the bauble is sealed and finished with satin ribbon around the join, and topped with a hand-tied double bow and hanging loop.
A thoughtful, meaningful keepsake designed to bring a sense of closeness and remembrance during the festive season.
