Making dolls and bears to remember loved ones is one of my favourite things to do. I love to hear the story of the person behind the clothing, why the items of clothing are chosen and try to incorporate something of the person into the finished item.
Making tiny satchels from a loved ones tie and braces so the grandkids can put little messages inside, making a baseball cap for someone who loved the outdoors and sailing or turning vintage dresses into doll outfits.
It's an absolute Joy to take these precious items and turn them into something that keeps memories alive.
Safety information
These bears cannot be certified with the CE label because of the use of reclaimed fabrics, therefore I cannot sell them as child safe or toys.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Memory Bears are handmade, one of a kind soft animals made from your loved ones clothing.
They are a beautiful way to remember your child’s early years, to mark a milestone in someones life or to remember a loved one who has passed away.
The standard bear measures 15 inches , though smaller and larger bears can be made and even rabbits.
The bears are made with as much care to children’s safety as possible, however because I use recycled fabric I cannot label the bears with a CE mark and therefore cannot sell these as suitable for children.
AMOUNT OF CLOTHING NEEDED
Newborn clothing 5-8 pieces
Toddler clothing 3-6 pieces
Child to Adult 2-3 pieces
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please remember these and not toys and are not certified for childrens play.
Handle with care and hand wash if required.
HOW ORDERING A BEAR WORKS
Either contact me directly or order from my folksy shop.
Payment is due upon ordering
I will contact you about sending your items and any further information on the bear
Each bear takes between 3-6 weeks from the time I receive the clothing
Once the bear is made I will send the bear through tracked delivery
BEAR COSTS
A basic 15 inch bear costs £50 and includes tracked delivery. Additional costs may be added for additional items (clothing, embroidery, special orders)
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Due the the nature of keepsake items, returns, refunds, cancellations or exchanges cannot be accepted.
