This playful design was sparked by imagining the cheeky personality of a hare who takes its carrot stash far too seriously. I pictured a mischievous little guardian—alert ears perked, eyes full of suspicion—determined to protect its prize vegetables from any would-be thieves.
There’s something wonderfully humorous about animals showing “human” traits, and this hare instantly came alive in my mind with a blend of attitude and charm. The scene captures that moment of exaggerated vigilance, turning an ordinary vegetable patch into a light-hearted story full of character.
I wanted the artwork to make people smile each time they step into the kitchen—a fun reminder that even the simplest things, like carrots and creatures, can spark joy when seen through a whimsical lens.
