A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork. I just love creating pieces that captures the rugged beauty of the landscape in a moment in time.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap and send it on to the U.K. based recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed pieces will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse wrapping materials I have collected. The artwork will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed pieces, they will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This is a framed encaustic painting consisting of oil and wax combined together. Encaustic work is an ancient method of painting which involves fusing wax, hardening agent and pigments with heat. The background is bathed in light shades of green contrasted with the rustic colours up front with blue wildflowers taking centre stage. I have also embedded tiny fragments of silver foil across the middle of the piece to indicated light.
The key features of this original encaustic painting include:
- This is an original, one-off, oil and wax painting on sealed reclaimed wood.
- The painting is set in a contemporary grey wooden frame.
- The artwork can be free standing or hung.
- I have called this painting, 'I Am Not Alone Here.'
- The total size is 22 x 22 x 3 cms (approx. 8.5 x 8.5 x 1 inch).
- It is signed at the back.
- Also included is a note of authentication from me, Susan Betty.
- Shipping across the U.K. is included.
This original of landscape will be posted out by first class Royal Mail. The painting will be covered with glassine paper before it is carefully encased in bubble wrap (or equivalent). It will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box.
