This piece came from my love of the night sky and the comfort of handmade things — a reminder to pause, breathe, and find beauty in simple moments.
I have always had a fascination for the moon and similarly owls, in my mind and in some cultures they make the perfect accompaniment. Owls nocturnal behaviours are directly influenced by the moon. Owls also represent wisdom, magic and mystery, whereas the moon symbolises femininity, fertility and renewal. Together they give a meaning of wisdom and power.

This enchanting macramé wall hanging features a small owl perched gracefully on a 3D crescent moon — a perfect blend of rustic charm and boho elegance.
Handcrafted from 100% cotton cord on a metal frame, each piece is made with care and attention to detail. The owl includes a discreet piece of craft wire to help it hold its shape, giving it a lifelike presence as it sits within the moon.
The moon is approximately 17cm by 17cm and the own approximately 7cm tall by 5cm width.
Ideal for hanging in a cosy nook, nursery, or as part of a calming wall display.
