Tourmaline has been used and traded since ancient times but became popular as a jewellery stone around 150 years ago, after George Kunz sold a green tourmaline to the small jeweller now known as Tiffany and Co.
It’s found in many different colours, however plum tourmaline is spiritually linked to embracing change, personal growth, and overcoming challenges, which is reinforced by its connection to the plum blossom, a symbol of resilience and new beginnings.
