Full description
Vintage roller boot cross stitch design available as a download chart, for when you just need to stitch some nostalgia or retro; depending on your age! What started as a wobbly skate around the rink became giddy freedom.
The download contains pages showing the design on colour blocks, as symbols only and as colour blocks with symbols.
Cross stitch should be simple and fun. The charts are therefore as simple as they can be, no complicated instructions, just pick up your needle and thread to sew.
Pdfs will be sent direct to your inbox so you can start stitching straight away.
Using Aida fabric or similar, the size of the finished design is: 14ct 13.6cm x 13.2cm or 16ct 11.9cm x 11.6cm.
The chart shows the design on a 84x84 grid, and the photo is a 6inch hoop.
STITCH COUNT: 75 x 73 stitches.
THREAD: There are seven colours of DMC 6 stranded floss needed, stitched using complete stitches. You can of course, be as creative as you wish with alternative colours and techniques. Traditionally cross stitch is created using 2 strands of thread, so you will need to split your skein.
