Full description
Blackwork stitch hexies design available as a pdf download chart. I have used 2 strands for the outline of the hexagons and 1 strand for the inner designs. The design is stitched on 20 count.
The download contains the design in a single colour; the traditional Black on White Aida.
Cross stitch should be simple and fun. The charts are therefore as simple as they can be, no complicated instructions, just pick up your needle and thread to sew.
A pdf will be sent direct to your inbox so you can start stitching straight away.
Using Aida, even weave fabric or similar, the size of the finished design is: 20ct 25.3 x 25.3cm.
STITCH COUNT: 199 x 198 stitches.
THREAD: There is just one colour of DMC 6 stranded floss. You can of course be as creative as you wish with alternative colours. Traditionally Blackwork is stitched using 1 strand of thread, however I have used 2 strands for the outline of the hexagons and 1 strand for the inner designs.
