Someone asked me if I could knit a topsy turvy doll and I started searching for patterns. She was pleased with her cinders/cinderella doll but when I found this 4 in 1 doll I was smitten. I am so pleased at how it has turned out and can see a little girl playing with it and dressing the doll she wants to play with. I think I will be sad to let this one go - but I can always knit another one now I've got the bug.

Great Christmas Gift!!! This hand knitted doll will delight any little girl and keep her amused as she interchanges the clothes on the four nursery rhyme characters. On one side there is Red Riding Hood with her smiley face, complete with her basket containing fruit and a cake and a bunch of flowers for her sick Grandma. On the back of Red Riding Hood there is Little Miss Muffet complete with her bowl of curds and whey and the infamous spider!
Turn the doll upside down and you will find Red Riding Hood's Grandma wearing her glasses, complete with her bottle of tonic, her little white kitten and a get well card from her grand daughter tucked into her apron pocket. On the back of Grandma is Old Mother Hubbard complete with her empty bowl and her poor hungry dog! Her shopping list is tucked into her apron pocket to remind her to buy dog food.
Hats, shawls and aprons can be removed when not needed and kept in the plastic pouches which accompany the dolls.
As always, proceeds go towards our local Foodbank.
