A few Halloweens ago, I spent the cold and darkening Autumn nights creating a piece that captured the feelings of the season, celebrating elements of the natural world in the form of pumpkins and a cornfield, and combining them with the whimsical elements of a mythical spooky scarecrow.

Full description
This is an A4 Art Print of my painting (also available as a greetings card) Harvest Scarecrow. Whereas my greetings card uses 360 gsm silk card, my art print utilises 300 gsm matte card.
The original painting was completed using mixed media, mainly acrylic paint and different markers, to convey a seasonal and atmospheric scene of a scarecrow in a field under a full blood moon. Pumpkins and fallen leaves cover the ground beneath a misty night sky.
The style is both whimsical and spooky.
