I love needle-felting and wet-felting. Combining the 2 into a doll is a engaging and rewarding creative process. I made Winter Woman alongside a similar commission and it turned into something akin to a long meditation with the occasional 'shock back to reality' as I stabbed myself with the needle... I'm constantly amazed by the process of felting.

OOAK Art Doll. Handmade and unique. 17” / 45cm
I've been referring to this Art Doll as 'Winter Woman' - because she's dressed for it! Her actual name, of course, will only be revealed to whoever wants her company - not for me to say.
She is a needle-felted doll with a stainless steel wire armature and wet-felted and needle-felted clothes. The wool is mainly in purple, red and orange - vibrant and beautiful. She has multi-layered clothes, mittens and boots. Her hair is a chunky acrylic yard. The staff is Hawthorn from the wild hedge behind my rural abode and is waxed and decorated.

Note: This is not a toy and shouldn't be given to children to play with. You cannot take any of it apart or brush the hair.
Delivery is via Parcelforce 48-hour, tracked.
