I painted this because I wanted to experiment with painting snowflakes. The trees seemed to be suitably wintry, and the fox watching the snow was the final feature, and a nice contrast of colour

Full description
This is an original framed painting, professionally framed in a gold colour frame, showing a wintry scene. It is painted using mixed media (mainly acrylic and ink)
The painting measures approx 5x7" unframed.
"Snowflakes" was originally intended as a companion piece to my other small paintings listed here, which are on wooden stands, but in this case if I put the painting on a stand Mr Fox lost his feet! Consequently I had the picture framed, and happily the problem was resolved - and I must admit I am very pleased with the result.
