This piece began with a simple walk along the shoreline in Norfolk - the kind of quiet moment when the waves seem to whisper ideas.The octopus came to mind - mysterious, intelligent, and endlessly creative. Each shell is carefully cleaned, dried and decoupaged with great care.Once the artwork is complete , I seal it with a little varnish to protect the surface and give it a little sheen. These octopus shells are more than just decor - they are tiny pieces of the seaside, brought to life with love and imagination.
