I love anything purple and after making a pastel coloured pot of toadstools I had to make a lilac one! As it’s solid wool it took me around 40 hours to make the entire piece by stabbing wool to bind it together.
I added the girl as I’d been making fairies and thought the toadstool needed ‘something’ to go with it. I loved making her, with her little plaited hair with and flower. I can imagine it in a girl’s bedroom with lots of magical decor, or somewhere really quirky.
Making this was definitely a labour of love and I couldn’t be happier with the final piece!!

Full description
A delightful little fairy girl sitting beneath a giant purple toadstool both made from wool, surrounded by curly foliage and presented on a wooden slice.
The fairy is constructed with a wire armature and wool giving you the opportunity to pose her however you wish. She has a lovely lemon dress and a flower in her plaited brown hair.
The foliage is a beautifully dyed Wensleydale wool which gives it a whimsical feel.
Both the tree and fairy are secured to a wooden slice to ensure it can be displayed anywhere and it’s approximately 12cm tall and 12cm wide.
Please note that this is for decorative purposes only and not suitable for children or pets due to the wool fibers used.
