I saw some bugs in a children's 'how to draw animals' book and was inspired by the different shapes used to create bugs and I thought they would work in glass. I wanted to create something different from other lanterns I had seen and to make some friendly bugs who would stay put in your home where you want them!
Safety information
Use only 1 tealight. The distance between the lantern's top and any combustible material above it must be at least 50cm. The lantern can get hot. Hang or place it on a fireproof heat-resistant material a safe distance away from combustible materials. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Do not drop any objects, including matches, on the candle. Extinguish by snuffing out the flame. Glass item so not suitable for small children.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
An upcycled new metal lantern with 3 fused glass panels depicting two friendly bugs in a grassy meadow. The bottom bug is a green blue, whether it looks more green or blue depends on the light. The top bug is blue and both bugs are made of iridescent glass to give them an iridescent shine. The side panels are a continuation of the grassy meadow on the front panel with hints of red, orange & yellow flowers.
I hand make the panels using sheet glass, crushed glass (frit), glass stringers and glass enamels. The lantern holds a tealight.
The lantern is 10 cm (w) x 10cm (d) x 22cm (h)
Each fused glass panel is 4cm (w) by 11.5cm (h)
Each panel is handmade and therefore unique and may differ slightly from the picture shown. I only charge postage and packaging for 1 item, any additional items in the same order will not incur more P&P costs.
