Made for Floribunda exhibition in The Atkinson
In 2022, I created nine giant sculptures of native plants made from repurposed materials such as garden hose, food packaging, yoga mats, light fittings and toothpaste tubes. The eight wildflowers and one grass depicted by the sculptures are all native to Wirral. The project shared about the importance of biodiversity on the peninsula and ultimately has led to this exhibition, Floribunda. I have a passion for plants and also for gathering artists and craftspeople together to work on creative projects and exhibitions with a sustainable theme

Maidenhair Spleenwort necklace made from a wide variety of recycled and bought materials Wire, flocked plastic and plastic from an air mattress with plastic sheathing. Supplied with a firm black box and information card about this one of a kind statement piece.
Since taking the image, I have added a string magnetic clasp and some white wire detailing which emphasises the layers.
