Pink Beach was inspired by my walks along the Scottish coast near Edinburgh — by the shells, the movement of water and the soft, changing light. These memories, filtered through emotion and intuition, became an abstract reflection of the feminine element: warm, fluid and full of quiet strength.
The piece brings together organic shapes and gentle textures — a visual memory of sea, nature and the colours of feeling.

“Pink Beach” is an abstract mixed-media painting inspired by the Scottish coastline near Edinburgh — a place of quiet rhythm, soft light and delicate natural forms.
The piece doesn’t depict a literal beach, but rather the feeling of being there: the gentle movement of water, the scattered shapes of shells, and the fleeting memory of sunlight reflected in colour.
Layers of pink, white, violet and black create a harmonious yet expressive composition, where floral and organic motifs appear and dissolve within the surface. Each mark carries a sense of emotion — a dialogue between softness and strength, intuition and structure.
Created using mixed media on paper, this original work explores feminine energy and the poetry of nature through texture and colour.
