The inspiration for Botanical II came from a quiet afternoon spent in a botanical garden — surrounded by the intricate shapes of leaves, petals and stems. I was drawn to the way light danced across different textures, revealing patterns that felt both structured and wild.
In this piece, I explored those natural forms through flowing, organic lines and a warm palette of reds, yellows and golds, contrasted with touches of violet. The colours reflect the feeling of sunlight filtered through foliage — vibrant, alive, and ever-changing.
It’s a visual memory of nature’s rhythm — a celebration of growth, warmth, and transformation.

"Botanical II” is an original artwork from my botanical abstract series – a vibrant exploration of nature through colour, movement and texture.
This piece combines deep red, golden yellow, violet and black tones in an expressive composition inspired by organic forms and the rhythm of growth. The contrast of fiery warmth and quiet depth creates a bold visual statement — a perfect centrepiece for a living room, studio, or creative space.
Created using mixed media on paper, this painting layers paint, ink and pigment to build rich textures and subtle transitions. Each mark was made intuitively, reflecting my fascination with nature’s balance between chaos and harmony.
