Jasper was favoured by the Ancient Egyptians who believed that the stone offered protection from negative energies.
Red jasper is thought to be a powerful grounding stone, providing vitality, physical strength and emotional support.
Terra jasper is also known as variscite, an aluminium phosphate mineral which can be found in a variety of shades. It often has a distinctive white/cream pattern from another mineral called crandalite that forms on the surface of the stone. Terra jasper is a stone thought to promote inner peace, control of the emotions and mental clarity.
