I have a love affair with the Northern Lights and have seen them a few times, though not in any spectacular settings. I like to imagine what some of my favourite places would look like during a display.

Full description
The Callanish Stones on the the island of Lewis are older than Stonehenge. Ancient and mystical, they have an aura about them. I’ve seen them many times, but thought setting them amidst the Aurora Borealis would highlight something of their magical qualities.
A letterbox canvas with acrylics. Unbleached cotton canvas (350gsm) - 12” x 4” (30cm x 10cm) with European pine frame. Unframed.
