Black Rose wall mirror. A declaration of deep enduring eternal love.
Whilst a natural black rose is generally deep purple or dark red , the symbolic black rose, down through the ages, has been seen to represent death and loss or rebirth and new beginnings.
It has been used to represent mystery and strength and most importantly, a declaration of deep enduring eternal love.
The perception of the giver and receiver can determine the interpretation put on the black rose.
This mirror is carved from beech and has the black parts created by application of a liquid ebony french polish.
It is backed with green felt , with loops and picture wire to hang it by. ( ready fixed ).
It measures 29cm x 20cm x 2cm
