Amazonite was given its name after the river in South America due to an abundance of the stone found in Brazil, although it’s been located in many other areas worldwide (the stones used here are from China and Russia). It’s been used for thousands of years for trinkets, amulets and also for writing tablets. It was originally thought that its blue colour was linked to copper however research has found that it’s actually due to small traces of lead and water in its chemical composition. Amazonite is often associated with harmony and communication, making it a ‘peacemaker’ stone.
Rose quartz is one of the most common varieties of quartz, its light pink colour is due to traces of titanium, manganese and iron that occur naturally in its chemical makeup. It’s the stone that’s most famously associated with love, personal fulfillment and contentment.

Knotted white macrame cord bracelet with chunky rose quartz ovals and 10mm amazonite cubes. There's smaller rose quartz and amazonite stones at each cord end and the bracelet's finished with a silver plated heart charm with a tiny matching amazonite stone.

This bracelet's fastened with a macrame sliding square knot so is adjustable and suitable to fit most wrist sizes.
