This stone is known by the name strawberry quartz due to the inclusions of Hematite and Mica which give the stone its distinctive black ‘pips’ on the surface, like those on a strawberry. The
pink colour depends on the amount of iron within the quartz. Strawberry quartz is often thought of as an effective aura grounding stone, soothing and calming and helping to curb anxiety.
