I love ghosts and wanted to do a painting with a ghost as the centre point. I later decided to make the backdrop that of a haunted forest and so tried to capture all the Autumn flora (and, of course, a spooky tree) in a spooky but cottage core style. I wanted it to have the whimsical feel of the illustrations in some of my favourite children's books that I so enjoyed looking at when I was younger, and transported me straight into the scene.

Full description
This A5 art print greetings card features my painting Haunted Forest, created using mixed media: acrylic paint, soluble oil pastels, markers and gel pens. It includes an A5 envelope for if you wish to send as a greetings card, although it could also be kept as a small art print, and is made from 360 gsm silk card.
The scene features a lone ghost under a starry sky in an autumnal woodland scene. A variety of different coloured trees line the backdrop and a plethora of different foliage and autumnal flora surround the ghostly figure, which stands on a blanket of fallen leaves.
