I wanted a painting capturing some of my favourite elements of the season, in a whimsical but spooky style. I love the Autumn colours and wanted to incorporate some natural elements such as the leaves, conkers, berries and acorns, as well as at least one spooky animal (the bats) as well as the centrepiece pumpkin.
It brought me the same feeling that I used to have as a child looking through picture books of spooky seasons and Halloween themes.

This greetings card features a print of my original painting Halloween Eve, is made of 360 gsm silk card and is left blank for your own message.
The painting is a whimsical Autumn print done with mixed media - acrylic paint, watercolour, pens and markers. It features a grinning pumpkin, crescent moon and bats flying through a dramatic and starry sky. The pumpkin rests on a bed of Autumn leaves, conkers and acorns.
